Mission: Creating student success and making a difference in our communities through educational leadership

Core Values: Integrity, Respect, Excellence, and Learning

Vision: Our College strives to set the standard of excellence in higher education by:
   - Creating meaningful and engaging learning opportunities through innovative teaching and learning,
   - Attracting and supporting diverse and creative people and ideas,
   - Strengthening community and industry relationships by providing programs and services responsive to our
      constituents' needs, and
   - Developing leaders to maintain and enhance the quality of economic, social, and cultural life in our communities.

Mission Goals: Our Mission goals rest on four beliefs: To set the standard we must be a healthy continuous learning organization. Our health and success are inextricably linked to the health and success of the communities we serve; therefore we must be a strong contributor to economic and cultural growth. We must never lose sight of the needs and potential of those we serve. We must understand clearly the role we wish to play and focus our energies.
Our mission goals are:
1. To enrich the region culturally and help make it increasingly a part of the creative economy.
2. To contribute to economic development and growth in the region.
3. To manage and utilize the energy and talents of all our human resources to their best and highest use.

Strategies
   - Build an intellectual climate and learning environment that fosters student engagement and encourages learners
to set and reach personal goals.

   - Increase diversity and contribute to the cultural life of the region by leveraging the beauty, culture,
    and history of our area.

   - Be the valued on-the-spot provider of workforce development for business and industry.

   - Ensure that NWCCD support for the professional development of faculty as educators and as leaders in the college
(and as leaders in collegiate education) results in an enhanced academic culture and increased student learning.

   - Employ sophisticated management tools, systems, and processes consistently and creatively.
